If you area member unable to log onto this website. please contact an officer so we can see if your account was made inactive. Members who have exceeded 2 weeks between visits to this website and are not on excused list were deactivated on site and soon to be dropped on ingame roster. Members are required to visit this site at least once a week (logged in) and to sign up for TWs in the calander of events. Failure to comply with these rules will get members dropped.

The basic rules are simple. Respect all other players. No drama. Unless exempted, sign up weekly for TW and let us know if you will be available. Make at least 50% of our TWs. Visit this website at leat once a week. Do your faction Base quests. If you have any questions, ask and don't be shy.

MARINE Faction founding principles:

This faction was formed as a place to have fun playing this game and to make friends. We play with friends. Sometimes, they are opponents in an event; but, they remain friends. There are No enemies. We don't use "strong" profanity. If you are a member, you represent this entire faction when you play with the title "Marine" over your head. You are an ambassador to the game. We play between the glitches with honor.

We've been on Raging Tide long enough to have had many of the veteran game players to have played with us on their Main or an Alt and passed their wisdom down to us. We have a good reputation, teamwork and lack of drama. Our members are the faction, not the officers. We have had and continue to have a great membership of friendly, helpful members. We think of ourselves as a training faction and try to learn all aspects of the game.

We do not kill farm spawn platforms in TW. We help our members to level up and get their gear up. Actions speak louder than words and we try to let our actions do our talking.

We are an extended family. We work as a team/s. We build or members one quest/ event at a time. We are only as strong as our weakest member.

What Marines do in game

Recruiting Drive: We are at Full in game; but, we're making room for recruiting active people who can commit to TWs and who want to join a fun, family of people. There may be a delay on approved applications receiving invites at this time. Starting 1 Jan 2013 new applicants need to be able to commit to at least 1 TW a week with us. We will be bidding on TWs each week. We are recruiting level 100 or higher. If you are interested, fill out the application and/ or contact an officer in game on Raging Tides server of PWI. Your application must be voted upon & approved before you are allowed to join.

Our Faction Base is currently at Level 15, Alch Lab is Aura VI with Advanced Apoth & buffs for 1 hour & Level 3 ammo is available from base. We want everyone to get the daily XP from the quests and join in doing 9 Trials as a faction. The dress code for Trials is shorts/ boxers for guys and bikinis for ladies if you have them. (Code was set by our lady members.)

In the Marines you will gain those intangible possessions that cannot be issued or gain in any other faction in PWI: pride, honor, integrity, and being able to carry on the traditions of warriors past and present.

There are only two kinds of chatacters in PWI that understand Marines: Marines and the enemy. Everyone else has a second-hand opinion.

A second opinion you may ask?
You cannot exaggerate about the Marines. We are convinced to the point of arrogance, that we are the most ferocious fighters in PWI- and the amusing thing about it is that we are. If you absolutely need to kill mobs or complete a fb or bh tonight, call a Marine.

Our Faction Build
Marines can be seen in two builds, Tanks or Damage Dealers, because Marines come in two varieties, physical and mean, or magical and mean. We are aggressive on the attack and tenacious on defense. We have got really strong skills and we always go for the throat. None compare to the build of this faction. From the Tanking Barb to the Pure Cleric, dealing in death is the nature of this beast.

So are the Marines for you?
Some players play an entire character wondering if they've made a difference in their faction and with there friends, Marines don't have that problem.

A note about this website: This site was created & is maintained by Darkwraith. For the past 2+ years this site has won awards and placed in 1st place catagories every SHIVTR event giving this faction and it's members free paid site features for months.

While some people like to brag, Darkwraith has done this without comment about his winning abilities.
